Pickles, Preserves & Relishes

Refrigerator Pickles - 1998

INGREDIENTS
  • 2 cups  sugar
  • 1 cup  vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon  salt
  • 1 teaspoon  celery salt
  • 1 teaspoon  dill seed
  • 8 cups  cucumber -- sliced
  • 1 onion -- sliced

PREPARATION
​Stir sugar in vinegar until dissolved.  Add spices and pour over cucumbers.  Press, let set 24 hours in the refrigerator.  Put in jars and refrigerate.
