Pizza Dough IV - Wood-fired Oven Pizza Dough - 2025

INGREDIENTS
PREPARATION
Delicious dough for a wood-fired pizza oven! Crispy crust that's still chewy and delicious on the inside!
- 2 cups warm water - about 105°
- 1 tablespoon dry yeast
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 5-1/4 cups unbleached flour
PREPARATION
- Mix water, yeast, salt and honey together until all are dissolved.
- Place into a large mixing bowl. Add flour. Mix at moderate speed for 8-10 minutes. Dough should be tacky but not sticky. Add more flour if needed.
- Place dough in a greased bowl and cover with a damp tea towel. Place in a warm area for about an hour, until doubled in size.
- Punch down dough and divide into 5 balls. Place on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Cover with a damp tea towel and let rise another hour.
