Molasses Cookies II - 1996

INGREDIENTS
PREPARATION
Mix together sugar, butter, shortening, egg and molasses. Add flour, baking soda, salt, vinegar, vanilla and cinnamon. Mix all together. Roll into walnut-sized balls. Roll in sugar. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Press slightly with glass dipped in sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes. Watch closely.
- 1 cup sugar
- ½ cup butter
- ¼ cup shortening
- 1 egg
- ¼ cup molasses
- 2 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon ginger
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- Sugar for rolling, pressing
