Marinara Sauce - 2005

INGREDIENTS
PREPARATION
Sauté onions in olive oil until translucent. Add garlic and sauté for one more minute. Add juice, tomatoes, paste, sugar and basil. Simmer for 1-2 hours.
The sugar, tomato paste and basil may be adjusted to personal taste.
- 1 46 oz can V-8® vegetable juice
- 1 medium onion -- chopped
- 2 cloves garlic -- minced
- 1 28 oz can diced tomatoes
- 14 ounces tomato paste
- olive oil
- 1 Tablespoon dried basil
- 2 Tablespoons sugar
