Green Beans a la Greco - 1998

INGREDIENTS
PREPARATION
Parboil green beans. In a large pan, sauté onions and garlic in olive oil. Add tomatoes, green beans and basil. Simmer until beans are tender.
- 1 pound fresh green beans
- ½ yellow onion -- diced
- 1 clove garlic -- minced
- 1 15 oz. can crushed tomatoes -- undrained
- ½ teaspoon basil
