Funi Salad - 2005

INGREDIENTS
SALAD
  • 1 head  cabbage -- chopped
  • 1 cup  celery -- chopped
  • 8 green onions -- chopped
  • ¼ cup  almonds -- slivered
  • ½ cup  sunflower seeds
  • 2 packages  Chicken flavored Ramen noodles -- crushed

DRESSING
  • ¼ cup  sugar
  • 1 cup  vegetable oil
  • 2 packages  seasoning from the noodles
  • 1/3 cup vinegar
  • salt and pepper -- to taste

​PREPARATION
Combine all salad ingredients in a large bowl. Combine dressing ingredients and mix well, chill for 2 hours. Add crushed noodles to the salad and pour dressing over salad just before serving.
