Fresh Citrus Margaritas for Four - 2019
Recipe courtesy of Sherry Nohl
INGREDIENTS
PREPARATION
Pour a jigger or so of tequila into a large saucer or plate. Spread the kosher salt in a separate saucer. Dip the rim of a martini or other wide rimmed glass into the tequila. Lift out of the tequila and hold upside down for 10 seconds to allow for slight evaporation. Next, dip the glass into the salt to coat the rim. Set aside.
Using a lemon/lime squeezer, squeeze the limes and oranges into a large shaker or pitcher. Add tequila and agave nectar and several ice cubes. Shake or stir and strain into glasses. Garnish with a lime slice. Makes 4 delicious margaritas.
Note: If you like more pulp, muddle some of the lime and oranges and strain into the mixture.
- 8 jiggers 100% agave blanco tequila, plus an extra jigger for coating glass rims
- Kosher Salt
- 16 small limes
- 2 Valencia or navel oranges
- 8 tablespoons light agave nectar
