Flubber - 1997
Recipe courtesy of Kathryn Nohl Bergen

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 ½ cups  warm water
  • 2 cups  white glue
  • food coloring
  • 1 1/3 cups  warm water
  • 3 teaspoons  borax

PREPARATION
Mix the 1 1/2 cups warm water, glue and food coloring in a container big enough to hold 3 cups.

Mix the 1 1/3 cups warm water with the borax in another container big enough to hold about two cups.

Mix the ingredients in each container carefully.  Gently pour the mixture from the smaller container into the larger one.  Stir until the mixture combines and thickens into a gooey ball and only a small amount of liquid is left.  Let it rest a couple minutes to continue thickening. Drain excess liquid.
