Recipe courtesy of Angie Krejci, Emma's Godmother
INGREDIENTS
Part 1
PREPARATION
Preheat ovent to 350 degrees.
Part 1: Mix or sift the dry ingredients in part one. Add in milk, butter and vanilla. Spread in a greased 9x9 square pan.
Part 2: Mix or sift the dry ingredients in part two. Add boiling water. Pour on top of the batter. Place cake in the oven and bake until done.
The mixture inverts with the cake on top and a rich chocolate sauce on the bottom. Serve warm with a topping of whipped cream or a side of vanilla ice cream and a cold glass of milk. Very rich.
Bill's mom made this a lot. They like it with vanilla ice cream. I was not sure how long to bake it, I took it out when it looked cooked on top and you could really smell the chocolate.
