Chili X, Turkey - 2015

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 red bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped 
  • 2 cloves minced garlic (can used jarred) 
  • 1 pound lean ground turkey (can use 93% lean ground beef)  
  • 2 cans kidney beans, drained and rinsed (can also use black or pinto beans)
  • 1 can organic diced tomatoes. No salt or sugar added 
  • 1 cup red wine or organic broth 
  • 1 TBS chili powder 
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt 
  • 2 tsp crushed red pepper (optional)
  • 1.5 tsp cumin 

​​PREPARATION
Add all ingredients to a crockpot and let it cook on low for about 6 hours or on high about 4 hours.
