Caprese Salad I - 1998

INGREDIENTS
PREPARATION
Slice mozzarella balls into half inch slices. Slice tomatoes into half inch slices. Alternate on individual salad plates.
Combine remaining ingredients together for the dressing, shake and pour over salad.
- 7 fresh mozzarella balls
- 4 large tomatoes -- vine ripened
- 1 small onion -- minced
- 10 fresh basil leaves
- ½ teaspoon fresh ground pepper
- 1/3 cup balsamic vinegar
- 2/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
