BBQ Meatballs - 2020

INGREDIENTS
MEATBALL MIXTURE
  • 13 ounces evaporated milk
  • 3 pounds ground beef
  • 2 cups quick oatmeal
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons onion, minced (optional — Karen omits)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
                         
SAUCE
  • 2 cups  ketchup
  • 1 1/2 cups  brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons  Liquid Smoke
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion (optional — Karen omits)

PREPARATION
Mix meatball ingredients well. Shape into balls (makes 36 to 48). Put in 2 - 9x13-inch pans. Mix sauce ingredients together and pour over meatballs. Cover with foil. Bake at 350 for 1 hour. Double the sauce if you like them extra saucy!
