Bar-B-Q Sauce from The Ritz - 1996​​​​​​

INGREDIENTS
  • 3 Cups  Water
  • 3 Medium  Onion -- Chopped
  • 1 Tablespoon  Celery Seed
  • 1 Tablespoon  Cinnamon
  • 1 Teaspoon  dried Mustard
  • 1 ½ Cups  White Vinegar
  • ¼ Cup  Brown Sugar
  • 1 32oz bottle  Ketchup
  • 1 Bottle  Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon Chili Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon  Paprika

PREPARATION
Boil the chopped onions, celery seed, cinnamon and mustard in the water until the onions are tender.  Add the vinegar, brown sugar, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, chili powder and paprika.  Simmer for 1 1/2 hours (at least).
