5 Hour Stew - 2005

INGREDIENTS
PREPARATION
Arrange first 5 ingredients in layers in a roaster or crock-pot. Mix remaining ingredients in a bowl, and pour over meat and vegetables. Cover and cook for 5 hours at 250.
- 2 pounds round steak -- cubed
- 6 carrot -- sliced
- 6 potatoes -- cubed
- 6 celery stalks -- sliced
- 1 small onion -- cut into rings
- 18 ounces V-8® vegetable juice
- ½ cup red wine
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- ¼ teaspoon rosemary
- ¼ teaspoon oregano
- ½ teaspoon celery seeds
- Salt and Pepper -- to taste
